Nina and Daniel's Wedding

By: Chrystal Park

Last Fall, our team had the honor of assisting Nina and Daniel with their wedding. These two are so incredibly sweet and have the biggest hearts. Both of them have a very contagious smile and both love the Lord. If you've been following our blogs, you know one of our favorite moments is honoring of the parents. This particular wedding was very emotional when it was time for Nina to honor her parents. Nina's relationship with her dad is probably one of the closest we've ever seen. Julien captured the priceless moments when he got to walk her down the aisle, give his daughter away, and take part in dancing with his newly wedded little girl.

Nina and Daniel got married at Nina's previous home church, Living Hope Community Church. City Flowers did a beautiful job creating a breathtaking arch, which was later then repurposed for their sweetheart table. One of our favorite Korean catering companies, Four Seasons, helped keep guests full with their multiple dishes served during cocktail hour and dinner.  Nina wanted to make sure the guests were fully fed so they ordered multiple desserts from one of our favorites, Porto's! Check out some of our favorite moments from #hohsbandandwifeyi. And yes, years later, the wedding party did the Harlem Shake.

Jamie and Tony's Wedding

By: Stephanie Yang

I had the pleasure of working with our bride, Jamie, while her fiancé, Tony, was traveling on business trips. Even though she missed him very much, I could see how excited she was planning her dream day with him. She wanted to incorporate her love for Disney and it showed in all the decor throughout their reception and I cannot wait until you see how she thought out every little detail.

We first see glimpses of Disney with the groom and his groomsmen because they all wore Grape Soda pins alongside their boutonnière’s. Can anyone guess which Disney movie these pins are from? While the bridal party was getting ready, Jamie and Tony exchanged vows through personal letters they wrote for one another. It was so beautiful and heartwarming to hear their love story in their own perspectives. But Tony had one more surprise for Jamie that was waiting for her outside the hotel. Can anyone take a guess? Scroll down to see the big surprise!

The wedding ceremony took place at St. Vincent de Paul Church, where Jamie and Tony had a traditional Catholic ceremony. After the ceremony, guests made their way to The Waterfront Beach Resort for cocktail hour which overlooked PCH. After guests indulged in some appetizers and drinks, they were escorted into the ballroom where it was set up to look like a Disney fairytale! CC Fine Florals dressed up the tables with pink and white centerpieces and each guest got to take home a Disney Tsum Tsum character as a party favor. Invisible Touch did a great job at MCing the night and kicked off the open dance with a remix of “Be Our Guest”. The newlyweds made memories with their family and friends at the photobooth and started a conga line through the tables! Luckily, Travis and his team, 8 Kinds of Smiles, were there throughout the night to capture these moments. And to quote the title of the closing song of the night, “When Can We Do This Again?”

Check below for some of our favorite moments from Jamie and Tony's wedding!

Annie and Jason's Wedding

By: Tiffany King

Last September, we had the pleasure of serving Jason and Annie on their big day. It was such a joy watching these two commit to one another before their friends and family at NaSung Church where they first met years ago. Their love for one another was clearly evident as was their heart for Christ.

They kicked off the evening with a reception at Hangar 21 where they had a fun, catered meal from Stonefire Grill. Their guests were also able to enjoy sweet desserts from their good friend, Janice who made them all! To make their night even more memorable, Jason and Annie gifted a free ride on the helicopters to the lucky guests who won the dance battles they held. All of this was captured by Dan Sauer Photography.
