Michelle and David's Wedding

By: Tiffany King

In June this past summer, we had the privilege of serving Michelle and David on their big day. These two made wedding coordinating such a blast from every meeting to their wedding day as they were always ready for a good laugh and had such an amazing team of vendors. Their story started back in their undergraduate career at UCSD where they started off as friends and tip-toed around the idea of dating for awhile. Luckily some close friends finally had enough and called for an intervention.. 6 years later, they tied the knot!

Michelle and David’s wedding day was held at the Colony House in Anaheim, CA with florals and greenery done by Foxglove Florals. The stage for the ceremony was lit beautifully with hundreds of tealight candles on the floor creating the perfect ambiance for when they said “I do.” After the ceremony, guests were able to mingle at the bar upstairs and play some awesome arcade games out in the patio like The Simpsons and Area 51, provided by Funtime Arcade Rentals. What’s more fun than arcade games at a wedding?! The reception kicked off with dinner served by 24 Carrots and a full blown dessert table and ice cream bar provided by Mr. & Mrs. Creamery. Their evening finally concluded with an open dance floor with Vox DJs playing the night away. This joyous day was captured by the awesome duo at Stewart Uy Photography. Below are some of our favorite moments that we hope you enjoy as well!

Nina and Andrew's Wedding

Nina contacted our team for Month/Day-of Coordination for her winter wedding. We were so excited to work with Nina and Andrew and couldn't wait to see their venue be transformed! Nina is very organized, talented and has an eye for design! She created all of the signs (invitations, welcome sign, bar sign, etc) and over 250 escort cards were hand written by the bride herself! Nina and Andrew had their ceremony at St. Linus Catholic Church followed by cocktail hour and reception at Venue by Three Petals in Huntington Beach. The florist is a family member of the bride and she did an amazing job creating beautiful and colorful bouquets and decorated the tables with fresh greenery and candles which set a warm tone. After the ceremony, family and friends gathered at Venue by Three Petals to enjoy cocktails and capture memories by using the photobooth by Share A Moment. The guests got to enjoy delicious appetizers and drinks provided by the venue's in house catering. Their grand entrance consisted a total of 43 people! Now that's a GRAND entrance! The hungry guests got to enjoy a delicious buffet style dinner followed by surprise performances from both the groom and the bride.

When the bride loves the band Hanson, how can you not perform "MMMBop"? Andrew and his groomsmen performed the song for his newly bride and she could not stop smiling! Andrew was part of a dance group called Kaba Modern and our team was so excited to hear that there would be a surprise dance performance for Nina. It was so fun seeing everyone gather around the dance floor to watch this surprise dance performance. But that wasn't the end of it! After the groom was done, the bride had a surprise of her own. Nina sang a song for her new husband and he had no idea she had a performance planned for him! Our team had so much fun watching the newlyweds surprise one another with their special performances and could not stop talking about it. The evening ended with guests enjoying variety of sweets baked by Pastry by Jazmyne and dancing to the greatest hits. Below are some of our favorite moments from #asimbolinastory captured by Rocky Halim Photography. Enjoy!!

Nicole and Brandon's Wedding

When your bride is a graduate from FIDM and has an eye for fashion, you know her wedding is going to be beautiful and very detailed with personal touches! Nicole and Brandon were referred to our team from one of our past couples and we couldn't wait to assist them on their wedding day. Nicole and Brandon met while working at the same fashion company in LA's fashion district. You could tell that they both had a passion for fashion just based on their own personal styles. I mean, check out her stunning BHLDN wedding dress! Nicole and Brandon had their wedding at SmogShoppe in Los Angeles. This was our team's first time at the venue and it was absolutely amazing. The ceremony area needed very minimal decor since the venue already had a stunning backdrop with a variety of greenery.

This was our first time coordinating a wedding without a wedding party and it was beautiful to see just the bride and groom standing up in the center. We love how they had bubbles for guests to blow during their recessional as they exited as the new Mr. and Mrs. Max City BBQ provided appetizers for the guests and Mia's Martini stirred up some delicious cocktails during cocktail hour. Jay from City Flowers did an amazing job, as always, decorating the reception room with gorgeous garlands and centerpieces. James from Valentine Entertainment did an amazing job entertaining the guests with music and games. When it was time for dinner, all of Nicole and Brandon's guests got to choose a variety of BBQ dishes and tasty sides that Max City BBQ prepared. Oh how we could go for some baby back ribs and a side of mac and cheese right now! Yum! The dessert bar was also buffet style and guests got to enjoy a variety of delicious sweets such as donuts, madeleines, and mini cupcakes. Nicole and Brandon wanted their guests to be well fed and entertained and they did just that! Kary and Tae from, The Times We Have, did an amazing job capturing their wedding day so beautifully. It was so hard to pick just a few to show but below are some of our favorites. Enjoy!!
