Esther and Samuel got married last Fall and we had a pleasure of planning their carnival themed wedding! When Esther and Samuel first contacted our team, they informed us that they wanted a non-traditional wedding reception. We were thrilled to work with them and get our creative juices flowing. They wanted their reception to be fun and unique and wanted guests to just have a good time.

The venue was already set at their church and it gave us a lot of room to work with. Since they had an open parking lot, there was plenty of room for carnival games and food trucks. Esther and Samuel had a traditional Christian ceremony in the main sanctuary where all of their family and friends witnessed their union. Guests were then welcomed into the church's fellowship hall for some light refreshments. Upon entering, guests were handed their admission ticket, which was also their escort card. City Flowers LA did a great job decorating the guest tables with gorgeous centerpieces. The bride made homemade soaps as party favors and they smelled amazing!

The bride and groom did not have a traditional grand entrance, but to kick off reception, they played the first carnival game! Once the newlyweds played the first round of each game, guests enjoyed delicious snacks from Phantom Food Truck and quenched their thirsts from the Boba Truck. We love how each guest got to take home a prize of a small bear wearing a t-shirt with the couples monogram. The kids loved getting a snack from the popcorn cart and everyone had a great time celebrating the couple. Joelle Photography did an amazing job capturing all the details from Esther and Samuel's big day and below are just a few of our favorite moments!
