Caroline and Nathan's wedding day was filled with personal touches. From their wedding invitations down to the bride/bridesmaids skirts, everything was very personal and made by hand. Caroline designed her invitations, programs and menu's all on her own. One of our favorite personal touches were the hands she added to the invitations. Those hands were drawn by Caroline to symbolize her relationship with Nathan. The bridesmaids and bride's skirt were hand sewn by the very talented mother of the bride. So much love and detail was poured into this soirée and it definitely showed on their wedding day!

The couple had their ceremony at First Baptist Church in Pasadena which was located right across the street from Pasadena City Hall. The welcome table had pictures of the sweet couple as well as wedding day pictures from their own parents wedding day. This church is absolutely gorgeous, I mean, check out the beautiful ceiling to floor organ! Have you ever seen anything like it? After Caroline and Nathan exchanged their personal written vows and shared their first kiss, guests headed off to The Athenaeum to continue the celebration.

The Athenaeum holds a special place in Caroline and Nathan's hearts. This is where they had their first date! Guests were welcomed with delicious appetizers, provided by The Athenaeum and a live caricature artist, from Taylor Entertainment. The guest tables were filled with lush flowers by Jacob Maarse Floral Design and all had green linen overlays that the mother of the bride made. We are so used to seeing white cakes decorated with fresh flowers, so it was refreshing to see a green ombre cake, baked by Fantasy Frostings. Soultones provided live music throughout the evening and the night ended with a gender dance battle. Michelle Mishina did an amazing job capturing all the precious moments and details from their day. Below are just a few of our favorite moments from Caroline and Nathan's soirée!
