Last summer we had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding out in Agoura Hills at Malibou Lake Mountain Club for our couple, Jina and Charles. The weather was absolutely perfect for their outdoor summer wedding. The ceremony took place on the lawn and guests had a beautiful view of the lake. After the ceremony, the guests got to enjoy small bites, catered by Yours Truly Catering. As soon as cocktail hour concluded, guests were welcomed into the reception area which was beautifully decorated with florals by Milieu Florals. One unique thing about this wedding, was that it was our first wedding where we got to witness a Paebaek ceremony. Paebaek is a traditional Korean tea ceremony where the grooms family formally accepts the bride into their home. The couple entered the reception together in a traditional Korean attired called Hanbok. The parents threw chestnuts and dates and the bride had to catch them in her skirt. The amount of dates and chestnuts symbolizes how many children she will bear. After the Paebaek ceremony, guests got to enjoy their dinner, games and danced the night away!
